Welcome to the Town of Breed

The Town of Breed is in Township 30 North, Range 17 East in Oconto County, Wisconsin. The town has a total area of 35.8 square miles of which 35.5 square miles of it is land and 0.2 square miles of it is water. The population as of 2021 is 774. We have a beautiful wildlife area known as Weso Flowage which is the photo you see above. This area is abundant with waterfowl and other wildlife. Weso Flowage is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. The North and South Branches of the Oconto River flow through the town which are great for trout fishing. The majority of Anderson Lake lies at the northern border of the town and Moody Lake is just south of it and both are on State Highway 32. For the ATV/UTV enthusiast, the Nicolet State Trail runs through the town which connects to several other trails. The town has a rich history of logging and agriculture.
